Miriam Greener – Director of College Counseling
Miriam is the proud parent of a Posnack School graduate from the Class of 2016, as well as two students in the Class of 2019. She has been a part of the Posnack School family for the past fourteen years, teaching in the lower, middle, and high school divisions at Posnack School. Miriam graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Harvard University and went on to earn a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College. Interested in pursuing a career in College Counseling, Miriam received her professional certificate in College Counseling from UCLA in 2014 and has been an integral part of the College Counseling department at Fischer High for the last two years, working closely with students and parents on academic course selection, standardized test preparation, effective essay writing, and all aspects of the college application process.
Rachel Yunger – College Advisor
Rachel Yunger joins Posnack School’s College Counseling department this year. Rachel has worked as a College Counseling Associate and Director of Student Life at Scheck Hillel Community School and as a youth mental health counselor for Memorial Regional Hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Studies of Social Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Social Work degree with a focus in clinical counseling from New York University. Rachel is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
