Posnack School’s Miriam Greener Appointed Director of College Counseling

Miriam Greener is the new Director of College Counseling at the Posnack School, succeeding Susan Safra in the role. Miriam is the proud parent of a Posnack School graduate from the Class of 2016, as well as two students in the Class of 2019. She has been a part of the Posnack School family for the past fourteen years, teaching in the lower, middlel, and high school divisions at Posnack School. Miriam graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Harvard University and went on to earn a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College. Interested in pursuing a career in College Counseling, Miriam received her professional certificate in College Counseling from UCLA in 2014 and has been an integral part of the College Counseling department at Fischer High for the last two years, working closely with students and parents on academic course selection, standardized test preparation, effective essay writing, and all aspects of the college application process. She has coordinated our college visit program and attended workshops with college admissions officers from Florida and around the country.

B’hatzlacha to Susan Safra who will be devoting herself full-time to her private company, Educational Pursuit. Susan has been an integral part of the success of the Posnack School college prep program, and Posnack School students have benefited greatly from her commitment.
