Hochberg Lower School celebrated 23 years at Beth Torah at a special ceremony honoring its founding home. The evening honored those who played integral roles in helping our school reach the historic milestone of moving into its new campus. Click for photos of the event.
100 Days Smarter on the 100th Day of School
Students marked the 100th day of school with different activities in their academic classes, writing about what they’ve learned in 100 days, what they’d like to accomplish at 100 years old, math problems relating to sets of 100, and much more. We loved celebrating 100 days of school together and being 100 days smarter!
4th and 5th Grade Celebrate Purim at JCS Luncheon
Our 4th and 5th Grade students attending the JCS Two’s Company Luncheon with Holocaust survivors to celebrate Purim! Our 4th Grade students sang songs to celebrate Purim and all of our students visited with the guests.
5th Grade Students Enjoy Trip to Sawgrass Park
Fifth Grade students visited Sawgrass Park to explore the Everglades this month. After learning about the Everglades in class, the students were able to experience this landmark firsthand and explore the nature and wildlife living there. Click for photos.
Celebrating Tu Bishvat
Hochberg Lower School celebrated the holiday of Tu Bishvat in school by tasting the different foods of the seven species of Israel, planting parsley and learning about the holiday through songs, readings, and videos.
Annual 1st Grade Kabbalat Ha-Siddur
Our First Grade students celebrated receiving their very first siddur at our Siddur Presentation this month! This was such a special time to share with our first graders and we wish all of our families a mazel tov on reaching this milestone!
4th Grade Students Travel to St. Augustine
