One Mitzvah Leads to Another
In anticipation of Rosh Hashanah, the 3rd and 4th grades learned about mitzvot and the idea that the world is built on three things: Torah, avodah, and gemilut chasadim. Action big and small can have a major impact on those around us, making the world a kinder place. The students discussed the concept of mitzvah goreret mitzvah – One mitzvah or act of kindness can lead to another. To better grasp the concept the children set up dominoes and watched as one domino would impact another.
