The Counseling Department was excited to welcome animal-assisted therapy dogs from Canine Assisted Therapy, Inc. as part of the Leashes for Literacy program! Our 1st grade students loved reading aloud to the dogs, building confidence, fluency, and a joy for reading with the support of a friendly, nonjudgmental companion.
