Posnack School was honored to welcome Sami Steigmann, a Holocaust survivor, motivational speaker, author, and actor, who visited several Lower School classes and our Hochberg Middle School Names Not Numbers©️ class, to share his life story and powerful lessons of resilience, courage, and hope.
Sami spoke with students about his childhood experiences during the Holocaust and how, despite unimaginable challenges, he chose a life rooted in optimism, gratitude, and purpose. Rather than focusing on statistics or dates, Sami shared personal stories that helped students understand history through the lens of human experience, emphasizing kindness, strength, and the importance of standing up for others.
