Students Read Together for Early Literacy

This week we celebrated the 18th year that millions of children got together to read a book called With Lots of Love, by Jenny Tores Sanchez and illustrated by Andre Ceolin. It is a wonderful story of family and the ways in which we stay connected to the ones we love. Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students had a very special reader as our very own Nurse Margie read and discussed this book with them. Posnack School students joined the global movement to help raise awareness around the critical importance of early literacy. Reading aloud with young children provides positive experiences that ignite their imaginations and help them build a better understanding of the world! Each student was sent home with their very own book to keep and enjoy with their families. Happy Reading!
