Kol Ha-Kavod to Our Talented Artists!

It has been an amazing and unprecedented few weeks for Posnack School Performing and Visual Arts students.

A huge mazel tov to Bailey L. (Class of 2025), who has been honored with the Young Arts Winner with Distinction Award. And another huge mazel tov to fellow junior Gabriella S. for her Young Arts Award win in photography.

Hochberg Middle School photography and drawing students made a significant impact at this year’s Broward Art Guild Youth Competition. They earned a total of eight awards at this esteemed competition are nothing short of outstanding. Mazel to to:

Benny G., who clinched the 1st Place

Inbal D., awarded 2nd Place/ Best In Show

Eliza B., securing 3rd Place/ Best In Show

Ethan J. and Noa P., both received Honorable Mentions

Shai M., recognized with the Judges Recognition Award

Inbal D., who also won the Peoples Choice Award

The Broward Art Guild has since announced that several of our student photographers sold pieces that were on display at the gallery. Kol ha-kavod to Josie G. (Class of 2026), Eden Z. (Class of 2026), and Yael R. (Class of 2026) on this amazing Posnack School first! 

Kol ha-kavod to senior Sara S. for her acceptance into the NADA/Miami Week art exhibit at the Ice Palace Studios in Miami. Posnack School will be well represented for International Art Week.

Not to be outdone, the spotlight shined for performing arts students too. Fischer High School sophomore Lily N. was accepted into the Florida All-State Honors Orchestra for cello. Our amazing new a cappella group, Posnatonix, had their premiere performance, singing Hatikvah at our schoolwide Veterans Day ceremony. Yasher koach to group members Alyssa T. (Class of 2026), Sacha C. (Class of 2025), Brooke K. (Class of 2026), and to Lindsey W. (Class of 2024) for introducing Posnack School’s first a cappella group.

These students’ dedication, creativity, and excellence are truly inspiring. Posnack School is immensely proud of their accomplishments and how they represent our school in the broader arts community. Their achievements reflect the vibrant and nurturing environment that Posnack School provides for young artists.
