Posnack School Hosts Hackathon
Posnack School hosted regional Jewish day schools for a Hackathon. Students from Posnack School, Scheck Hillel, Katz Yeshiva, JLA, and Jewish Culture had to build a tractor-like device to collect apples in a field using AI to find the apples. CIJE connected this theme to an organization called Leket, a food bank in Israel that is helping farmers and providing food to food-insecure families. Posnack School students took home awards for best design and for the device that collected the most apples.
