7th Grade Studies the Judicial System
In 7th grade Civics classes, students are learning about the judicial system, including civil and criminal law, why we have trials, and courtroom procedures. All students participated in a mock trial in order to better understand the role of the participants in a court case and the components of a trial. Students assumed the roles of the judge, attorneys, clerk, bailiff, witnesses, and jury members.
