8th Grade Language Arts Students Explore Life During the Holocaust
Each year the 8th Grade students in Language Arts classes read and study the horrifying true story of Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel. Students are then asked to create “Replicas of Life During the Holocaust” to represent their perspective of what they learned. The students’ replicas have been on display in the Media Center where they presented their creations to other classes and parents. Mr. Craig Weiner, president and founder of the NSU Holocaust Reflection Room, visited the displays. Mr. Weiner congratulated the students on an amazing and powerful displays. Kol ha-kavod.
