Fischer High School Students Lobby for Israel in the Nation’s Capital
Fischer High School juniors, Noam F., Oreen C., Meira G., Yael T., and Hannah P., and their advisor, Morah Idit Cohen, attended the annual Schusterman Advocacy Institute High School Summit. There, they learned to advocate for Israel in order to strengthen its relationship with United States and influence current policies towards Israel. Students had the privilege to meet with several highly respected members of AIPAC as well as 500 student advocates from all across the country. The highlight of the trip was the students’ opportunity to use their newly acquired skills to lobby members of Congress on current issues affecting the Israel-American relationship.
