High School Holds Tikkun Olam Fair

Fischer High School’s “Pre-Yom Kippur Experience – Tikkun Olam Fair” was a vibrant and community-oriented event. It featured a diverse array of vendors who showcased volunteering opportunities for students. The event aimed to foster a spirit of giving back and social responsibility, aligning with the values of Yom Kippur. Students had the chance to explore various volunteer initiatives and connect with organizations dedicated to making a positive impact. It was a meaningful and educational prelude to the solemnity of Yom Kippur. Students had the opportunity to take on new mitzvot to start the new year.
