This morning the Main and East campuses had the opportunity to meet and do a chesed project together. Both campuses sat in groups and discussed their similarities in order to form bonds. Then, they were given the task of figuring out how to protect a falling egg, using balloons, bubble wrap, sponges and other soft items. Once they completed their team projects, they had the opportunity to listen to some very special firefighters. Two of them are Posnack parents and one just returned from Israel. Lastly, the 5th graders packed bags for the local fire stations as well as all of the support staff in the school. The treat bags will be distributed as a Thanksgiving “thank you” to everyone who helps up on a daily basis. Both campuses had an amazing time and are already becoming fast friends.
