Posnack Lower School Students Study Mars
Posnack Lower School students were so excited to witness the landing of the Mars rover, Perseverance. For the last several weeks, kindergarten through 5th Grade students have been learning about why we are so curious about Mars. Students discovered all the complexities of planning a mission to another planet by playing a simulation game. In STEM, students created models of helicopters and rovers like those that will be used during the current mission to Mars. In Visual Arts, students learned about the different shapes and textures seen throughout our universe and drew their interpretations of outer space.
