Posnack School Commemorates Yom HaZikaron
On Yom HaZikaron, Upper School students came together for a special assembly to honor the fallen heroes of Israel. They learned from a representative of FIDF and a former Israeli soldier, about the significance of this day. The whole school then came together to lower the flags and pledge our commitment to Israel with Hatikva and a prayer for its brave soldiers which was led by 1st Grade students. Hochberg Middle School students attended a special lunch ‘n’ learn where they could order Israeli snacks. The snacks came with a discussion prompt related to Israel and its history.
