East Campus 5th Grade Students Study Marine Life in Pigeon Key

Students in 5th Grade spent time in Pigeon Key learning about marine animals, their habitats, and how we can help protect them by making better choices in our lives. They also learned about the history of Pigeon Key. Students were able to participate in interactive activities like finding invertebrates while snorkeling or walking in tide pools, holding some of the live animals they found in a touch tank, dissecting a shark, and a marine debris clean up of the island.
