Joshua’s Conquest
This week’s Haftorah reading is from chapter 2 in the Book of Joshua. It relates that 39 years earlier, Moshe, under pressure from the nation, sent out 12 spies to scout the land of Canaan. The mission resulted in tragic consequences, so why is Joshua seemingly making the same mistake by conducting another reconnaissance mission?

This week marked the retirement of Cookie Gordon, a beloved member of the Posnack School family. Cookie has worked at Posnack School in a variety of roles over the past 36 years. Students and staff were on hand to wish her all the best. Mazel tov, Cookie, and thank you.

Linda Gutheit, who has devotedly served Posnack School for more than 10 years, as a teacher, Lower School Principal, and for the last 3 years, as the founding Principal of Kulam at Posnack School, will be moving on as a consultant for Posnack School at the end of this school year.
