Why Did The Egyptians Become Our Friends?
In the middle of this week’s Torah portion, Parashat Bo, God uses the unexpected term “friend” to describe the relationship between the Israelites and the Egyptians. Maybe I missed something, but I don’t recall any indication of friendship between the Israelites and the Egyptians in the previous Torah portions.
