Fischer High School HOSA – Future Health Professionals students had the special opportunity of volunteering at the Friendship Circle at the Chabad of Parkland.
Our students guided activities, such as baking cookies for gift baskets and made homemade pizzas to share for lunch. Everyone had a fun time and meaningful connections and memorable experiences were created along the way.
The Friendship Circle’s mission reminds us that “everyone in this world has a unique purpose.” By focusing on abilities instead of disabilities, the organization helps foster strong friendships and creates opportunities for individuals with special needs to positively impact those around them.
This activity was sought and organized by HOSA’s leadership, Chaya G. (‘27) and Lanna S. (‘27). We encourage Posnack School students to explore Sunday volunteer opportunities with this inspiring organization here.
